Our Annual Fundraising Event(s)
“Over 100 Year”
Our “Over 100 Years” Paper College Project is an exciting and user friendly fundraising opportunity for businesses and the community to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities during Black History Month (February). Participation is as simple as 1-2-3.
See guidelines:
1. Call your Black Foundation representative and request paper colleges for your location.
2. Upon arrival count your paper colleges and sign the responsibility wavier.
3. Inform employees about the program. (area representative available)
4. Keep the paper colleges near check out area.
5. At check out have employee ask customer if he or she would like to support Historically Black Colleges and Universities during Black History month by donating one dollar ($1.00).
6. Collect money, have them write their name in the space provided and thank them.
7. Hang the paper college in a high visible area in your location. (Example windows, counters, walls etc.)
8. Repeat
Things to remember:
1. Keep the guidelines and representatives contact information to order additional paper colleges and for any additional questions.
2. Customers may want to donate more than $1.00. If the amount is to large to handle please refer them to the website www.theblackfoundation.org or give them The Black Foundation’s telephone number.
3. Don’t forget to hang your door signs up on January 31, 2007 close of business.

Good news, for all businesses that havn't signed on to participate in the Over 100 Year Paper College Project. We have extended sign up. Now new companies can sign on through December 1, 2008. All participates in FY2008 will default to our annual month of Feburary (2009)
